Our guest this week is Amanda Gros, a hair and makeup artist who specializes in bridal hair and makeup.

We talked to Amanda about how she transitioned from being a nurse assistant to a highly sought-after bridal hair and makeup artist, the highlighter she swears will actually make you look like you are lit from within, and the makeup brands you should avoid if you are getting your photo taken.  Amanda also gave us her number one beauty tip for brides-to-be (hint: it involves vigilant exfoliation!) and what to do if you get a zit before a big event.  Amanda also introduced us to Norwex, a magical antibacterial cloth that takes off your makeup without any cleansers (!!). Of course, we also talked about our mutual obsession with the makeup artist Carmindy from the original What Not to Wear and wondered whether she has Instagram (she does!).
